Pastor Tim Mowers

Tim is a graduate of Baptist Bible College, now Clarks Summit University of Pennsylvania, (BBC '88) where he earned a degree in Bible and Missions.  He previously served as a church planter and pastor in Cape Town, South Africa for fifteen years.  He has been faithfully married to his wife Barb since 1988.  They have three children, Josh, Rachel, and Micah.  Tim has been with Calvary Baptist Church since September 2013.  He has a great love for God and is continually growing in his walk with God.  As a pastor, He shows great care in shepherding people and a passion for ministry.  He encourages a great emphasis on teaching the Word of God.  His preaching is expository in nature with a purpose of helping others better understand the text.
